E28 525i Automatic Project

Regular followers will have seen that we pulled this lovely Malchite Green 525i auto out of a garage where it has been sat for 13 years a few weeks back.

Our master tech gently and respectfully coaxed the low mileage 81k engine back to life and as you would expect it runs beautifully. Before cranking the engine the cam cover was removed and camshaft and oil ways inspected to reveal an almost perfect camshaft and plentiful oil flow. The car has now been fully appraised by us so we can inform potential owners of the further requirements it will require to make it road worthy.

Overall the interior is in superb condition with the exception of the dash that has some cracking, the body is very good indeed requiring a very small amount of welding to be made road worthy. The car has part history and can be driven for the purposes of loading and unloading.

A simple and straight forward project for the hobbyist or we would be absolutely delighted to discuss undertaking the required work with any new potential owner.
