For sale unusual Gazelle Beige over Nutria Brown hounds tooth 525e. This vehicle is being sold strictly as a project. It requires work to be made road legal but it is a great candidate for a rolling project or a full restoration.
The car has an indicated 92k which is fairly low. We have the original book pack for the car including its service booklet which has some stamps and details some history of the vehicle.
The engine runs really very well, holds temperature nicely. We would recommend a full Inspection 2 service including a new cam belt and water pump but otherwise there seems to be no worries here. We have moved it round the yard and can confirm the gearbox shifts but again we would recommend this be serviced.
Mechanically it appears very functional but all the major systems do require a service.
Bodywork is curious. Corrosion wise it’s not too bad although the rear arches are blistered and separating. The car has been subject to quite a few dents and these have gone rusty. The front wings ideally want replacing (we have a pair of reasonable used wings to go with it). The doors, bonnet, and boot lid are all pretty good although subject to dents and surface rust in places they will all easily go again. The chromes on this car are all very good although unfortunately the rear bumper has a dent in it but we believe this could be straightened. The under body, floors, inner sill, axle carrier mounting points, battery tray and so on are all pretty solid.
With the exception of the dash top the interior is in fantastic condition. It is without rips or tears and everything inside the car works as it should.
If the colour and the interior aren’t enough to sell this super cool eta then the wheels might just make the deal. Period correct aftermarket 16 inch Alu-lites with incredible dish set the car off marvellously.
There is a full video showing every aspect of the vehicle so please follow the link attached.
The car has been sat in our dry storage since roughly 2014 and sadly we just can’t seem to find the time to get to it. Rather than let it sit and deteriorate any further we have decided to offer it up for sale for £3500 as it sits. Naturally we’d be very happy to quote for any work for a perspective new owner and particularly interested to speak with anyone who might want us to undertake a restoration on the car for them but it does need to find a new owner who can prioritise its recommission or restoration so please get in contact.
