E32 730i Manual · Dolphin Grey · 112k

With a D prefix this car must have been one of the very first E32's to have been sold in the UK. Of all E32 production only an estimated 59,222 of 311,045 world wide where produced with a manual gearbox. Being an early production model this car is also specced with the highly desirable medium case limited slip diff. When you consider how many of these cars have met their end through the scrappage scheme and as donors for gearbox and engine conversions (In 2007 I bought a whole 735i E32 for £50) you begin to realise quite how staggeringly special this car is.

The car is currently undergoing some minor restorative work including a new propshaft damper, rear suspension and rectifying some common E32 Electrical gremlins before we fit a set of 15 inch period correct BBS alloy wheels and fresh tyres (sadly the metrics on which it is pictured are no longer really viable). The body work is in excellent condition throughout as is the grey nappa leather interior. It is a very clean and original example of BMW's 80's opulence.

Mechanically it is superb and has been very well cared for. There is lots of history for the car from the supplying dealer and then later after a period of storage lots of receipts for work carried out on the car. Being a 3 litre straight 6 M30B30 which was the most fuel efficient of the range and in this case coupled to the manual gearbox makes this E32 surprisingly economical for such a luxurious vehicle.

Once the car is ready for sale more pictures will be added but anyone who is interested should get in contact as this is an opportunity not likely to be repeated in a hurry.
